Festivals Committee

The Festivals Committee plans, organizes, and supervises several public events each year.  These events include the town's Memorial Day parade and ceremony; the Independence Day parade, fireworks, and activities; concerts on the common; craft fairs; and more.

 

Join us for the 2017 Independence Day festival.  It will be held Saturday, July 8th.

10:00 am -- Parade at the town common

All of the following events will be at the Samuel E. Paul Community Center on South Street.

10:00 am to 5:00 pm - Crafters in the Woods

11:00 am -- Touch a Truck:  Police and Fire Departments, games for children

11:00 am to 1:00 pm -- FREE eye checks for children, sponsored by the Lion's Club

12:00 pm to 6:00 pm -- Silent Auction, inside the Community Center.  You need not be present to win.

5:30 pm -- Lion's Club amazing chicken BBQ

7:00 pm -- Community softball game

dusk -- Spectacular fireworks display

Lunch will be available in the Community Center.

Please join your friends and neighbors as we celebrate America's birthday.

 

 

Festival Committee meetings are held at various times throughout the year at Town Hall.
