The Troy Board of Selectmen will hold three public hearings beginning at 6:30 pm on Monday, February 26, 2018. The topics of these three hearings are as follows:
1 Should the town establish a Police Revolving Fund pursuant to RSA 31:95-b for the purpose of receiving funds from drug seizures and forfeitures? The fund would be used to pay for police training and for the purchase of police equipment.
2. Should the town allow the operation of Keno games within the town? This would allow businesses with qualifying liquor licenses to apply to the state for a permit to offer the Keno 603 game.
3. Should the town establish a Building Permit Special Revenue Fund pursuant to RSA 31:95-c for the purpose of receiving funds from building permits? This fund would be used to pay contracted building inspectors.
Each of these three hearings will begin with presentation of prepared remarks. The Select Board will then entertain comments and questions from the public. Comments may be limited to three minutes.
These hearings will be recorded and will be included with the audio recording of that night's Select Board meeting which will take place immediately after the three public hearings.
