If you need to go somewhere and don't have transportation, and you have no family member or friend available to help you, you can call Community Volunteer Transportation Company. Their volunteer drivers may be able to help you at no charge.
CVTC's volunteer drivers provide "no fee" transportation for people who do not have access to transportation because of age, ability, economic situation, or other limiting circumstances. Their trip purposes include non-emergency medical and social service appointments as well as trips to the grocery store and the pharmacy.
CVTC is also looking for volunteer drivers to get people where they need to go. If you have some time now and then to give someone a ride, CVTC would love to hear from you.
